Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated - Atlantic Region celebrates the Month of the Military Child pt. 2

April is designated as Month of the Military Child; a time to honor the sacrifices made by military families worldwide, with an emphasis on the experience of the dependent children of military members serving at home and overseas.

We celebrate Amari H.!
Age: 7
Branch of Service: US Army
HERO Story: He is a military child hero because he learned French during his mother’s assignment to US Embassy Libreville, Gabon from 2013 to 2016.  He is fully bilingual and continues French studies at a French Immersion Public School in Maryland. Additionally, he is very helpful and likes to volunteer.

Hobbies: playing sports

HERO Story: My dad is my hero.  He always takes care of our family and protects our country.

Best thing about being a military child? Being around military bases because I can make friends.

HERO Story: Who is your HERO and why? My parents because they sacrifice a lot to take care of us.
